UNetbootin (Universal Netboot Installer) is a very simple application that will help you creating a bootable Live USB drive for a large list of Linux distributions without having to use any CD nor DVD.

The list of available distributions is wide enough, including: Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Linux Mint, Fedora, Mandriva, OpenSUSE, Debian, Gentoo, Arch Linux, BackTrack, CentOS, CloneZilla, Damn Small Linux (DSL), DreamLinux, Elive, FaunOS, FreeBSD, FreeDOS, Frugalware, Gujin, NetBSD, NTPasswd, Ophcrack, Parted Magic, PCLinuxOS, Puppy Linux, Slax, SliTaz, Smart Boot Manager, Super Grub Disk, Xubuntu or Zenwalk.

All of them are available in different versions and languages and the Live drive will be created just following some simple steps.

The program will guide you throughout all the process, so you'll have no problems.

If you don't want to waste a DVD to install any Linux distribution, create the bootable Live USB drive using UNetBootin and enjoy.
